JAZZ ON AIR è UN CD REALIZZATO da un programma andato in onda ogni domenica in diretta Facebook, dal 22 novembre 2020 al 16 maggio 2021, realizzato senza fondi, con la sola passione per la musica da Larry Franco e Dee Dee Joy. Da qui la decisione di registrare un CD di ben 79 minuti, con alcuni dei brani più belli eseguiti durante le dirette.
Il programma è stato impreziosito da telefonate e collegamenti video con illustri ospiti, nonché amici, come Piero Angela, Renzo Arbore, Lino Patruno, Minnie Minoprio, Nicolas Gilliet, Fabrizio Bosso, Dario Salvatori, Memo Remigi, Nick The Nightfly, Gegè Telesforo, Adriano Mazzoletti, Michael Supnick, Giampaolo Ascolese, Attilio Troiano, Guido Di Leone, Francesca Leone, Mario Rosini, Franco Arigliano, Riccardo Biseo, Giorgio Cùscito, Michele Carrabba, Freddy Colt e Salvatore Cassara’: una bella rosa di artisti che, per amicizia e stima nei confronti di Larry e Dee Dee, hanno partecipato in maniera assolutamente gratuita alla trasmissione, seguita in tutta Italia e anche nel resto del mondo.

La registrazione di questo disco si può concettualmente riassumere in uno slogan affascinante:
“Due Cuori, Un’Anima”, ovvero “Two Hearts, One Soul”.
Dall’amore per i brani classici americani a quella per i brani storici della canzone italiana interpretati elegantemente con unità d’intenti da Larry e Dee Dee costruita negli anni e con uno stile unico che li contraddistingue.
Due bravissimi musicisti per un disco “bridge” tra Italia e America, con l’aggiunta del brano “Something for me”, una nuova composizione di Dee Dee Joy dal titolo inglese ma cantato in italiano, a fare da collante tra due realtà solo apparentemente lontane ma sviluppatesi parallelamente.

JAZZ ON AIR is a CD MADE from a program aired every Sunday live on Facebook, from November 22, 2020 to May 16, 2021, made without funds, with the sole passion for music by Larry Franco and Dee Dee Joy. The recording of this album can be conceptually summed up in a fascinating slogan:

From the love for classic American songs to that for the historical songs of the Italian song elegantly interpreted with unity of purpose by Larry and Dee Dee built over the years and with a unique style that distinguishes them.
Two talented musicians for a "bridge" record between Italy and America, with the addition of the song "Something for me", a new composition by Dee Dee Joy with an English title but sung in Italian, acting as a glue between two only apparently realities distant but developed in parallel.
